Be warned, Port Isaac is incredibly busy with tourists following the popularity of ITV's Doc Martin, where the village is re-badged as Port Wenn. If you are not visiting for the TV drama location, Mevagissey on the South coast of the Cornish peninsula is equally picturesque but without the crowds.
