The caption for Bamburgh Castle is wrong. It is not a recent construction. It is a grade 1 listed building and the core of the existing structure was built by 1095 when William Rufus laid siege to it. It is true that Armstrong renovated it and photos exist of this work.

Aerial photography allows us to see the world from a different perspective – to enjoy sweeping overviews of cities, landscapes and landmarks that we could never fully appreciate from the ground.
