After analysing data around the dining options, airport parking costs, number of lounges, quality of hotels and distance from the urban centre, luggage storage company Stasher has ranked the world's aviation hubs to bring you this list of the best airports out there. 30. Vancouver International, Canada
Vancouver is often named as one of the most liveable cities in the world, and its airport, with glorious mountain and ocean views, makes it into Stasher's top 30 best airports in the world list. Vancouver International ranked well for its proximity to the city – the airport is just a 25-minute Skytrain ride from the downtown area – and the cost of parking, which can be as little as CA$15 (£9/$11) a day.

29. Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport, Spain
Another well-placed airport, Madrid's major international hub is incredibly close to the city centre. With Metro stations in two of its terminals, you can take Line 8 all the way to the centre of Spain's capital, arriving in just 12 minutes. The airport also scored highly for punctuality, with a 7 out of 10 for 'likelihood of on-time flights'. Needless to say, the efficiency of this airport is refreshing compared with many international hubs.

28. Jomo Kenyatta International, Kenya
Parking is what sets Jomo Kenyatta apart from the rest. Nairobi's main airport offers 24-hour parking for just 280 Kenyan shillings (approximately £2.20 or $2.70). The airport scored poorly for shopping and airport lounges, but its proximity to the city centre – just 10 miles – was a saving grace. Unlike most airports in the world, Jomo Kenyatta is also incredibly close to one of the country's national parks, where zebra and giraffe roam with a backdrop of skyscrapers and landing aircraft.
27. Kuala Lumpur International, Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur's international airport is a hit with travellers on Google, with a 4-star rating average from its over 9,000 reviews. It wins out for its food and drink options and the cleanliness of its public spaces and toilets. Stasher rated its parking as reasonable, too, but it falls down on shopping options and number of airport lounges. There's free Wi-Fi throughout, though, so if you've a long layover, settle in for a good meal and watch your favourite shows.
26. Christchurch International, New Zealand
With reasonably priced parking and close to the city centre, Christchurch international scored a total of almost 6 out of 10 on Stasher's ranking. But it's the airport hotels here that win the day. The high-end Sudima Hotel has its own outdoor pool, perfect for a pre-flight dip, and the playful budget option JUCY Snooze has simple rooms and funky public areas with hammocks and deckchairs for relaxing.
25. Don Mueang International, Thailand
Flights are regularly on time from Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport, and parking here is pretty cheap at just 250 Thai Baht (around £6 or $8) per day. But the highlight at this airport is the restaurants. If you're flying out of Don Mueang, don't miss a fragrant Thai meal before you take to the skies.
24. Indira Gandhi International, India
Serving capital New Delhi, Indira Gandhi International is one of this vast country's best airports. It's the busiest in India, with over 60 million passengers passing through each year, and it's located just 10 miles from the city centre. On Stasher's ranking, it scored highly for food and drink outlets – think Punjabi street food and kathi kebab rolls – as well as cheap airport parking. While the shopping options are limited, the airport receives rave reviews from travellers on Google.
23. Tenerife North, Canary Islands
One of the two major airports in Tenerife, Aeropuerto de Tenerife Norte is well placed for those heading for the capital, Santa Cruz – it's just a 10-minute drive from the city centre. Scoring well for airport hotels and reasonably priced parking, Tenerife North is one of the best airports in the world.
22. Jorge Newbery, Argentina
There are three standout features in this airport which serves Buenos Aires: cheap parking, proximity to the city and excellent airport hotels. The Aeroparque Inn & Suites is reasonably priced and has bayside views out towards Uruguay, and the Awwa Suites & Spa sits between the airport and city centre with contemporary rooms and a great indoor pool.

As the main airport for Bollywood's stars, there are plenty of good airport lounges, including an Amex Lounge and pay-per-use lounges. The highlight here is the airport parking though – it's incredibly cheap at just 1,000 rupees for 24 hours (around £11.50 or $14).
20. Mariscal Sucre International, Ecuador
Google users rate this airport highly thanks to its location among the Andes mountain ranges, as well as its customer service and cleanliness. 17. Helsinki Airport, Finland
Good airport hotels, punctuality and distance from the city are three of the top things that make Helsinki one of the world's best airports, but the comparatively reasonable parking (just £11.70 or $14.30 a day) is the highlight. 14. Shanghai Hongqiao International, China
Sitting west of Shanghai's centre, Hongqiao Airport is mainly a domestic and regional hub, with a few international connections available to the likes of Tokyo and Seoul. 13. Singapore Changi, Singapore
Regularly named the best airport in the world thanks to its array of unique amenities and facilities, Singapore's Changi airport has a surprisingly low place on this list. The airport receives rave reviews from travellers using Google, and it scores highly for its food offering, punctuality and its lounges. But there are two crucial factors that let it down: Changi is just too far from Singapore's centre, and parking is expensive.
