Sea levels are rising around the world as a result of the climate crisis. Even if we manage to keep global warming below 1.5°C (2.7°F), as set out in the Paris Agreement, they are set to rise by at least 10 feet (3m), according to research by non-profit Climate Central. But if the planet's temperature increases by 3°C (5.4°F), which it’s projected to do by 2100 if drastic steps aren’t undertaken, sea levels could rise by 30 feet (9m).
