At 14,000 feet (4,267m), this 1969 Airstream is located at one of the highest spots in the Hollywood Hills. Marfa, Texas, is fast becoming an arts hub and bohemian campsite El Cosmico offers some quirky accommodation. This sizeable Airstream contains a king and twin bed, shower, AC/heater and its own private deck. While there, get involved in a whole host of artistic and creative workshops, from cooking to songwriting. 

Just 15 minutes from the centre of Vienna, Room 777 is a 1952 Airstream with a difference. As well as its location in the grounds of the super-cool Hotel Daniel, this heat and sound-insulated Airstream even has its own free-standing bath. The hotel has its own beehives and bakery too – could it get any trendier?

Views don’t get much more panoramic than the ones you’ll enjoy from this beautifully appointed Airstream perched overlooking California’s remote Half Moon Bay. If you can drag yourself away from the view – and the pizza oven – a long empty beach is only metres away.

Located in the heart of Oregon’s Willamette Valley wine region, The Vintages Trailer Resort is a must-visit for any wine buff. Its 33 trailers are peppered with luxuries from local coffee and terrycloth robes to comfortable bedding and hotel-quality linens, while the park itself gives way to views of the vineyards. Cruiser bikes are available to borrow for touring the nearby vineyards.

In a former life, this impressive Airstream lodge was an undercover surveillance vehicle for the government. It can now be found in the heart of the woods on Washington’s Vashon Island, with hiking trails on its doorstep and scenic beach walks nearby. Foodies will be pleased to hear it has a great kitchen, complete with a 12-foot (3.6m) countertop, large sink and two-burner stove, and comes ready-stocked with some cooking essentials. There’s also an outdoor fire pit and barbecue.

Set on a large private Bayou estate overlooking Choctawhatchee Bay, this fully restored vintage 1969 Airstream International Sovereign Land Yacht is only moments away from miles of pristine beaches and State forests criss-crossed with walking and biking trails. The owner has nicknamed his Airstream Dreamy, an equally accurate description of your vacation in this part of Santa Rosa should you choose to stay.

With its tightly packed streets and numerous waterways, central Venice isn’t necessarily the first place you think of when looking to go glamping. But thanks to Airstreams Venice, it’s now possible to live your dream. This scenic site, set within a national park, benefits from being close to the beach and just a 30-minute boat ride from Venice. The site has six Airstreams in total.

Bolivia’s expansive salt flats are a bucket-list destination for many and now you can take in the dazzling views while staying in a vintage Airstream. With mod cons like a hot shower and heating (temperatures drop at night), plus local Bolivian food for dinner cooked by a private chef, this Airstream really does offer an experience of a lifetime.
