If you can draw yourself away from Le Jardin des Douars, Essaouira’s main beach and medina are both only 12 minutes and reached by the hotel’s shuttle service. The walled medina is a UNESCO World Heritage site and more laidback than those in Marrakesh. The beach enjoys 320 days of sunshine per year and is ideal for relaxing or trying your hand at surfing or kite surfing.

The prize

Le Jardin des Douars in Essaouira is offering a three-night stay in a Choukran Room or Beldi Room or Gazelle Room for two guests sharing, including daily breakfast, lunch on one day and dinner on one evening. One guest will enjoy a complimentary hammam, the other a massage. The prize also includes transfers from and to Essaouira airport and a return shuttle to and from the Essaouira medina. Please note that flights are not included.

Terms and conditions

1. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.

2. This prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, Le Jardin des Douars and their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.

3. Entries must be received by 23:59 GMT on 31 January 2024. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Automatically generated entries or entries via agents or third parties are invalid and shall not be considered. Entries become the property of the Promoter.

6. All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw, which will take place by 7 February 2024. The first entry drawn will be the winner.

7. The prize includes:

The prize is valid for stays up to 15 months from the prize being drawn, excluding blackout dates that include the Easter period, July and August 2024.

Flights are not included. Note that Ryanair serves Essaouira twice weekly throughout the year.

Meals include daily breakfast as well as a three course lunch each one day, three course dinner each one day. Alcoholic drinks are not included but can be purchased. 

The prize is as stated, is not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered Prize winner and their guest must be over 18 years of age. Other than as specified, the Promoter shall not be liable for any costs or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with this prize and does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by the winner as a result of accepting this prize.

8. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they have adequate travel insurance.

9. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
