Flash sale alert: flights to New York from £144.90
You'll need to be quick, Norwegian's cut-price fares only last until Monday...
Norwegian airlines have launched a five-day sale on flights to the East Coast of the USA, with some of the best value fares we've seen this year from the UK to the States.
The sale includes departures to six US cities from London's Gatwick airport and is valid for travel between 1 December 2019 and 28 February 2019.
The lowest fares are to Boston and Chicago, with prices starting on both routes from £134.90 one way.
If getting some winter sun is high on your list, now is the time to book, with the sale also including flights on Norwegian's new route to Tampa – starting from 31 October – and Miami too.

What will you pay?
Lead in fares are listed below, but be aware that the price of flights rises during December.
- New York JFK: from £144.90 one-way in LowFare economy
- Boston: from £134.90
- Orlando: from £149.90
- Fort Lauderdale/Miami: from £149.90
- Chicago: from £134.90
- Tampa: from £149.90
Is there a catch?
You'll have to pay extra for baggage and there are some blackout periods in the calendar. However Norwegian is consistently highly rated for their customer service and has been voted the 'World's best low-cost-long-haul airline' in 2018 for the fourth year running at the SkyTrax World Airline Awards.
And don't forget that when you're booking flights-only (with any airline) you won't be protected by the Civil Aviation Authority's ATOL Protection scheme, which covers only passengers booked on package holidays.
If you have one, we always recommend booking with a credit card which offers extra protection on purchases over £100, thanks to Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
