Have you ever wandered around a National Trust country house and wished that you could stay the night?

Now you can, as a guest at the beautiful Bodysgallen Hall in Wales.

(Bodysgallen Hall/National Trust)

Set within 220 acres of its own parkland to the south of Llandudno, Bodysgallen Hall offers a taste of aristocratic living. Its beautifully manicured gardens and parkland are regarded as the finest of any hotel in Wales and offer spectacular views of Snowdonia and Conwy castle. Best of all, once everyone has gone, you’ll get the chance to explore the secret stairwells and corners of this beautiful historic house.

(Bodysgallen Hall/National Trust)

One of three historic houses donated to the National Trust, Bodysgallen Hall has been warmly welcoming guests to stay, dine in the restaurants, enjoy afternoon tea, or arrange health and beauty treatments in the spas for the last 15 years. It is home to 31 spacious bedrooms, both in the main house and in cottages in the gardens. Each is decorated tastefully, with both period features and all the modern amenities.

Dining here is a rare treat too. Traditional Welsh afternoon tea is served in the oak panelled hall, library or drawing room, or beside the roaring fire when winter sets in. Guests can also hide away in the crocodile alcove on the first floor, ideal for a tête-à-tête over coffee or a glass of Champagne. The dining room holds 3 AA Rosettes, with imaginative Welsh food prepared by the award-winning team.

Looking to relax and leave the troubles of the world behind? Book a treatment at the beautifully appointed spa. Located just a short walk from the hotel, the spa houses a large indoor swimming pool with spa bath, gymnasium, six spa treatment rooms, club room and a relaxation room.
