Martin Pilkington

A Lancashire-based freelance writer since 2006, Martin Pilkington previously worked for 20 years in export sales which was an excellent way to travel the world and eat lunch for free. He has published articles (and occasionally photos) in more than 40 outlets. Though an expert in nothing he actually knows quite a bit about numerous subjects, and is always curious to learn more, so has written about, among many other things, food, boats, travel, interesting people, growing apples, history, films, weddings and snuff. He is currently working on a book about sea fishing from a well merited inexpert standpoint.
