Aerial photography allows us to see the world from a different perspective – to enjoy sweeping overviews of cities, landscapes and landmarks that we could never fully appreciate from the ground. The following photos were all taken from the skies above Britain by the Royal Geographical Society, ranging from the sheer cliffs of Scottish islands to the rolling fields of the English countryside.
