Half of Brits would honeymoon in the UK

As long as it's Instagrammable, say some

Half of Brits would consider taking their honeymoon in the UK, rather than heading overseas, a survey has found.

According to the research by LateRooms.com, more than a third of the 2,605 respondents said sound-proof rooms and privacy were a must for a honeymoon hotel, while 13% said they would consider how their photos would look on Instagram before booking.

According to the survey, the top five destinations for a UK honeymoon are:

1. The Lake District (50%)
